I can log into my Exchange Mail account, but I get an error message when I try to log into HuskyCT.

I am sure of my NetID and password, but still get an error message when I try to log into HuskyCT.

1. Be sure you are using all lowercase letters for your NetID
2. Try clearing your browser cache (see instructions here)
3. Try using a different browser and/or a different computer
4. If none of these solutions fixes the problem, please contact irchelp@uconn.edu

Browser Related Problems

When I run the browser checker in HuskyCT, it says I am using an unsupported browser
You may or may not experience problems when using HuskyCT. If you do, switch to a supported browser. See list here.

The HuskyCT browser checker says I have pop-up blockers turned on, but I enable pop-ups in Internet Explorer
Pop-up blockers can exist in many places besides just in browsers. See the information here to find and disable pop-up blockers

The HuskyCT browser checker says I don't have Java installed on my computer.
You will need to install a recommended version of Java on your computer. Follow the instructions here

The browser checker says I don't have the correct version of Java but I don't seem to be having any problems in HuskyCT.
Some tools and features in HuskyCT are more heavily dependent on Java than others, so it is possible that you may not notice a problem. However, if you do encounter problems with mail, discussion, adding content files, using the HTML creator, or in chat rooms, follow the instructions for changing the version of Java that you have installed on your computer.

Nothing happens when I click on a link to open a file
Since Windows XP Service Pack 2, Internet Explorer has a security feature that prevents automatic file downloads and a warning message is displayed near the browser address window. View these instructions for eliminating the problem in HuskyCT.
