Changing Internet Explorer Settings to Allow Downloads in HuskyCT
       
Basic Procedure
             
1.
 Click on Tools >> Internet Options >> Security
           
2.
 Set lms.uconn.edu as a trusted site
           
3.
 Use "enable" for Download settings for files
             
Detailed Instructions
             
Step 1: Click on Tools >> Internet Options >> Security
             
  Click on Tools >> Internet Options
 
  Click on the Security tab
Step 2: Set lms.uconn.edu as a trusted site
             
  Click on Trusted Sites icon
 
  Click on Sites... button
 
 


Enter http://lms.uconn.edu in the first text box

Be sure the Require server verification box is UNCHECKED

Click the Add button

 
 


The Vista URL will appear in the Web sites box

Click OK button
Step 3: Use "enable" for all settings related to Downloads
             
  From the Security tab screen, click on Custom Level...
 
 

Scroll through the items in the Settings menu until you see the Downloads heading

Be sure all the Download settings are Enable

Click OK
 
 

If a Warning screen appears, click Yes

Then click OK on the Internet Options screen
