interested in obtaining a Vista site for a class can find more information

Instructors are encouraged to consult the online help
as well as contact the IRC for assistance with planning and building
their Vista class sites. Workshops
are also available. |

Technology Competencies |
| |

| |
Computer
Technology Competency (CTC) tutorials have been developed and made
available to all incoming freshmen. Faculty
can contact the Instructional Resource Center staff to get a copy
of an individual tutorial for use in their class or consult with
the IRC staff in using the entire CTC website for their class. |

These
tutorials are one way for undergraduate students to complete the entrance
expectations for the general education Computer Technology Competency.

Entry

should demonstrate a basic understanding of, and competency in, computer

E-Portfolio |

IRC
staff work with faculty and other instructors on using the UConn e-portfolio
system. Besides teaching faculty about the e-portfolio system and
how to use it, we address effective teaching and learning uses of
e-portfolio. |
